LOREN HUNTER
Mrs. Hunter currently reside in Georgetown, Texas with her husband and two dogs. She grew up in Fredericksburg, Texas, attended and graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a bachelors in art education. She has taught art at the middle school and high school levels for 10 years, going on 11 and loved every moment. In that time she has served as department head of the fine arts as well as on various campus and district committees. Mrs. Hunter has organized multiple art shows on the campus level and in the community. One of her greatest accomplishments is hosting a silent auction and art exhibit to raise funds in order to help a non-profit build a water well for a community in need. Her heart and passion is in teaching students how they can make a difference in the world and helping students discover the person they want to be.

When she is not in the classroom you can find her traveling, making art of my own and enjoying time with my family. They travel when they can, going to national parks and seeing all the wonders of our world. When she is creating her own art pieces she enjoys embroidery/textiles and printmaking.

Mrs. Hunter loves learning new techniques as well as sharing them with fellow art teachers!
