Silva
Roxan Silva began her public school music education career at Albright Middle School. She taught alongside her high school director, Molly Ness, for her first year of teaching. She then moved to Pearland where she was the assistant director at Pearland HS. In 2006, Roxan transferred to Dawson HS where she had been teaching choir and AP Music Theory ever since. All of the choirs at Dawson consistently earn sweepstakes and several of the students have been successful at earning spots in the prestigious Texas All State Choirs. They have enjoyed singing at several invitationals with UH, the Houston Chamber Choir, and the Houston Symphony. During the summer, Ms. Silva enjoys meeting and working with new directors and students as a clinician at All State Camps throughout Texas. Roxan Silva lives in Pearland with husband, Mark, and her 2 younger sons, John and James. Her oldest son, Angelo is happily married to Mary Silva and they currently live in Sugar Land, Texas.
