Ron

In 1997, the year prior to the opening of Cedar Park High School, Ron Morrison was named the first Director of Bands. In 1998 the program launched and has experienced unapparelled success since. In 2001, he led the organization to Leander ISD’s and Cedar Park High School’s first UIL State Marching Band Championship.

In 2002, Leander ISD named Ron as the district’s first Fine Arts Coordinator, a role that allowed him to establish district-wide philosophies, systems, and processes that continue to serve as a framework upon which many of the ongoing successes of the Fine Arts Programs in Leander ISD have been realized.

Also, in 2002, Ron founded SASI – The Leadership People, an organization that has now trained thousands of students from all walks of life throughout the nation. Although Ron has since left SASI, he has remained true to his love of developing aspiring and seasoned leaders.

Ron has also served as a leadership development and process improvement consultant for entertainment-based organizations such as The Schlitterbahn, Great Wolf Lodge, Six Flags Theme Parks, Alabama Adventure, and Universal Studios. He has also done this work in the energy and healthcare sectors as well.

Ron has also served the Wylie ISD, Socorro ISD, Texas City ISD, Lamar Consolidated ISD, Judson ISD, and many others as a consultant in educational mindset, systems and processes.
