Gamez

Manny Gamez brings more than three decades of dedicated leadership in fine arts education to his role as Educational Support Manager – Southwest for Conn Selmer’s Division of Education.

Prior to joining Conn Selmer, Manny served as Director of Fine Arts for the Pflugerville Independent School District (PISD), where he led nationally and state-recognized arts programs while fostering deep community engagement and partnerships. His experience also includes fine arts leadership roles at the Mission Consolidated Independent School District and as Director of Bands and Fine Arts Department Chair at Del Valle High School in El Paso.

Manny’s leadership has been characterized by:

Building high-performance music and arts programs that achieve excellence in student outcomes and competition.

Establishing strategic partnerships and community-driven arts initiatives to enhance access and visibility for fine arts.

Advocating for equity in arts education by creating opportunities for students across diverse communities.

In his current role, Manny collaborates with educators, administrators, and industry partners across the Southwest region to provide instrument resources, program support, professional development, and strategic planning. He aims to empower fine arts leaders and students to reach their full potential through exceptional resources and visionary leadership.

Manny holds a Bachelor of Music Education from New Mexico State University and a Master’s in Administration from Grand Canyon University.

When he’s not championing arts education, Manny enjoys connecting with music educators, supporting student success, and advancing the fine arts ecosystem across his region.
