Jenkins
Jessica Jenkins is a seasoned Theatre Educator, Teaching Artist, and Certified Arts Integration Specialist with two decades of experience in education and the performing arts. She brings creativity, leadership, and a passion for the performing arts to classrooms, workshops, and stages across Houston.
In the classroom, she helped students develop leadership skills and build meaningful relationships. As a result, she has seen those skills pay off in her former students’ professional careers. While she did develop an award-winning program from the ground up, she does not focus solely on that in mentoring and coaching. Jessica is a professional improviser with multiple companies in and around the Houston area and has experience using those skills in business training. Her work extends beyond the stage and classroom into curriculum development, professional development facilitation, and workshop design for educators and performers.
Jessica has contributed as a Fine Arts Curriculum Writer and has held multiple leadership roles, including Fine Arts Department Head and Good Behavior Group Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts & Science in Fine Arts from Prairie View A&M University and continues to inspire students, colleagues, and audiences through her dedication to arts education and performance.
