Galloway
Daniel Galloway is in his 32nd year of teaching and is the Director of Bands at Jordan High School in Katy ISD. He previously taught at Clements High School, where the program earned multiple Texas State Honor Band Finalist placements and performed at the Midwest Clinic, and at Mayde Creek Junior High, where he led the band to its first sweepstakes.
Since opening in 2020, the Jordan Band has quickly risen to statewide and national recognition, earning UIL Area 6A Finals appearances, BOA Regional Finals placements, multiple US Bands championships, and National Wind Band Honors awards. The Jordan Symphony Orchestra, which he co-directs, has performed at the ASTA National Conference, the National Orchestra Festival at Lincoln Center, and the Midwest Clinic, and is a top Texas Honor Orchestra finalist.
Galloway is an active adjudicator for BOA, WGI, US Bands, and TMAA and has instructed with Bluecoats, Santa Clara Vanguard, and the Blue Devils. He lives in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD with his wife of 33 years, Jackie, and is the proud father of Ashley, who resides in Denver, and Kaitlyn, Associate Director of Bands at Langham Creek High School.
